Game of Thrones TV series has entered the fourth series

Game of Thrones TV series is more inspired by medieval French historical novel than a fantasy, says author George RR Martin.

The film has been entered into the series is often compared to fantasy stories like Lord of the Rings, the BBC.

"Serial medieval French novel Les Rois Maudits (King Damned) has all the elements," Martin wrote in the introduction to the latest translation of Maurice Druon posts between 1950 and 1970.
