Fort Hood Shooting Suspected indicated got Serious Stress

Texas : Shooting at Fort Hood military base in Texas , United States , Wednesday ( 04/02/2014 ) , surprised many. Four people were killed in this incident , including the actors who shot himself . While 16 other soldiers were wounded .

U.S. military spokesman Lt. Gen. Mark Milley told the BBC that so far there has been no indication whether the shooting is linked to terrorism or not . All possibilities are still being investigated , and terrorism has not been eliminated .

Milley called the perpetrators named Ivan Lopez is a U.S. soldier who served in Iraq . Upon returning to the U.S. , Lopez underwent a series of examinations whether he was experiencing symptoms of traumatic stress syndrome , or PTSD . Milley suspect Lopez suffered severe depression and anxiety .

It is not known whether the shooting was planned . While all the deaths and injuries come from military personnel .

The incident began when the offender approached the two buildings in the complex Fort Hood . He was then a series of shots before it was halted military police . After that , the perpetrator shot himself in the head with a 45 caliber pistol .

U.S. President Barack Obama admitted in shock over the Fort Hood shootings . He promised to investigate this case thoroughly .
